How do I find peer-reviewed journal articles and government reports on breast screening in New Zealand?

Searching

  • go to Library Search 
  • enter your keywords in the search box. e.g. breast screening Zealand.  For an indigenous perspective you could also try a search on breast screening Māori
  • change "Everything" to "Journal articles"
  • click the Search button (A magnifyfing glass icon).
  • In the right column tick next to Peer-reviewed journals and Apply filters
  • Select the Publication Date if you need up-to-date articles e.g. Select 2015-2025 and click Refine.
  • To retain the peer-reviewed and date of publication filters for your next search click on Remember all filters.

Referencing

For any entry in Library Search you can click on the citation icon to see the APA referencing. Click on Copy citation to clipboard to paste the reference into your reference list then check it against your Ara APA Referencing guide to ensure it is correct.

 

Finding Government reports

For official government reports on breast screening in New Zealand, search using Site:.govt.nz after your keywords e.g.
