I am studying upstairs at Manawa. How long can I stay in the building?

You should have been sent an email with the details about using your CDHB swipe card which allows you afterhours access to the Manawa building.
The Manawa building is open from 7am until 5pm Monday to Friday. For access outside these hours and anytime in the weekend you will need your swipe card. No one is able to access the building between 11pm and 5 am.
In the event you lose your card, notify your course leader or Department Administrator on the 5th floor immediately and contact deptofhealthpractice@ara.ac.nz to arrange a replacement card. You will then need to pick this up from the ID badge office inside Christchurch Women's hospital when it is ready to collect.
Your card will automatically be deactivated if you do not use it within a 90 day period. To avoid this please ensure when you come into the building that you tap on one of the entry points either outside the building or in the lifts.
If you need assistance after hours or forgot your card and cannot use the lift to get to the ground floor then ring CDHB security on 02704321909 or 03 364 0454.
